In this project, I used curving lines. The wires I used created a rough texture. I think that the point of emphasis is the body of the turtle, where the mesh creates the shape. It is either that or the head and legs of the turtle, which could catch someone's eye. Most of the negative space in the turtle is in the center. The difference between the mesh covering the body of the turtle and the wires that spiral at the top to make the head creates contrast, allowing us to focus on the differences between the top of the turtle and the bottom. The most effective part of the sculpture is the top of the turtle. It spirals around and creates the effect of the the turtle's round head. If I could change something about this sculpture, I would change the original way I put the turtle together and make it more round. That would make the shape more accurate. Then I would also change the way I made the head at the top of the turtle, and make the spirals more consistent and circular.
